Lakisha R. Lemons
Founder & Creative Director
Lakisha R. Lemons is an award-winning director and writer with a passion for filmmaking and storytelling. Known for captivating audiences with stories that matter, Lemons has built an impressive career in the film industry.
Lemons wrote and directed the psychological thriller "Kasi" and directed the critically acclaimed thriller "Deliveries from Eva," now streaming on Apple TV and Tubi TV. Her most recent project, the thriller "Deadly Escape," showcases her talent for crafting engaging narratives that leave a lasting impact even winning her proudest achievement of Writer of the Year recognized by the Houston Association of Producers in 2025.
She gained recognition as the director of the closing title film at the 49th Annual WorldFest International Film Festival with her faith-based film "Hope." Lemons is the founder of LL Productions, LLC, a Texas-based Film/TV production company that is rapidly gaining prominence.
Lemons has tackled a diverse range of projects, including the controversial films "Be My Teacher" and "Border Break," both written and directed by her. As a producer, she has contributed to numerous projects, such as the short film "Charlie’s Gift," starring Academy Award-nominated actor Bruce Davison and Emmy Award-nominated actress Dee Wallace. Additionally, she produced the music-inspired film "It’s a Man’s World," starring Quinton Sampson, which draws comparisons to "Purple Rain." She also worked as the assistant director in the BET blockbuster hit "The Reading," starring Academy Award winner Monique Hicks. Other first assistant director credits include, Tyler Perry Studios ‘Old Gray Mare’ presented by Courtney Glaude.
